I have a valentine for you. I've had fun gleaning through love songs the last week or so and I'm listing a few here for your perusal. I wish I could have gotten a link for the song I reference in the title of this post, "Ode to St. Valentine" by Calvin Johnson, but my search was unfruitful. If you get a chance, check it out on iTunes. And if you want to squander more time online, you can browse through all manner of long song collections (80s, R&B, "timeless", and so on for such treats as Chicago's "You're the Inspiration", Bryan Adam's "Everything I Do, I Do it for You", etc.). fun! the blossom dearie video was a little freaky! :) I just heard about her on NPR this week and was really loving her music. I love that title, too! I never look at YouTube for some reason, but I love the ingenuity/craziness of some people out there putting these things together. It's pretty awesome.
